Intti makes pre-tied turbans and headwraps for women who want full coverage without the fuss.
Why pre-tied
Most people who give up on turbans give up at the same point: they buy a length of fabric, watch a long tutorial, and find that what looked effortless takes fifteen minutes and three attempts in real life.
Every piece we make arrives finished. The knot, the bow and the drape are already sewn in. You place it, slide it back, tuck your hair and go — about ten seconds, no mirror gymnastics, and it looks the same every single time.
Reversible by design
Almost everything in our range works two ways. A neutral side for work and a stronger colour for the evening, from one piece. Several styles also have an interchangeable bow, so the same base can read completely differently depending on what you attach to it. It means a smaller wardrobe that does more.
Fabrics chosen for hair, not just for looks
Fabric is the part of a turban you notice least when you buy it and most after a month of wearing it. We work mainly in satin, velvet and soft knit because of how they behave against hair:
- Satin has a smooth, low-friction surface, so hair slides instead of catching. Less frizz, fewer split ends, less moisture pulled out of the hair.
- Velvet holds shape and catches low light, which is why it's the one that gets worn to evening events and winter weddings.
- Soft knit does the job of a hat without flattening what's underneath.
Interiors are kept seam-light and label-free, because that's what you feel by hour six.
Who wears them
Women covering for faith. Women protecting curls and coils. Women living with alopecia, thyroid-related shedding or chemotherapy. Women who simply think it looks good.
Those are very different reasons, but the requirements turn out to be the same: comfortable, secure, full coverage, and a piece that reads as a styling decision rather than as medical headwear. That's what we design for.
