Every Intti turban arrives pre-tied, so there is nothing to learn.

1. Hold it by the back seam, with the decorative front facing away from you.
2. Place the front band on your forehead, about a finger's width above your eyebrows.
3. Holding the front in place, slide the back down over your hair to the nape of your neck.
4. Tuck any loose hair under the back edge and even out the front band.
5. If your style has an adjustable tie, pull it snug and knot it under the fullness at the back.

Long hair? Gather it into a low bun or plait at the nape first. Very short or no hair? A thin cotton or satin cap underneath adds grip without bulk.

Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Press the water out between two towels rather than wringing, reshape while damp, and dry flat away from direct heat.

Skip fabric softener — it coats the fibres and dulls a satin finish. Velvet should be steamed rather than ironed, as ironing flattens the pile permanently.

Store flat or lightly stuffed to keep the crown shape. Don't hang a turban by its band.

Our turbans are one size. The band is cut from stretch fabric, and most styles include an adjustable tie at the back so you can set the tension to your own head size.

Worn correctly — front band just above the brows, back edge all the way down to the nape — it stays put through a full day. If it feels tight at the temples, loosen the back tie and set the band slightly higher.

Reversible styles turn inside out from the base for a second colourway. Reshape the knot or bow with your fingers after flipping.
